OOTD: palm trees on her pants

There are prints and then there are prints. My colourful pineapple dress was a huge move for me, but when I spied a pair of slouchy pants in some kind of palm tree print, in a slightly garish green hue {SO not a colour I like}, I can’t even tell you what appealed to me so much.

The print, on a dress, is perfection. In fact I also grabbed the maxi dress in this print for that very reason. I don’t even wear pants, only jeans. No trousers, slacks, genie pants, no capri’s or chino’s. Leggings for working out or denim. That is all. But I loved these and in my head {the place all outfits magically just work}, I pictured summer days spent lazing around or cooler nights when bare legs was just a touch chilly but jeans too much.

And apart from some raised eyebrows from the fam bam who know how much this just isn’t my thing, I’ve decided that from now on it is.

Although the t shirt at least, even backwards, is still very identifiably me.
